The Peak|"It's Different Up Here" event was grandly unveiled and the brand-new "101 Peak Street" showcased the vitality of Hong Kong

Description

The Peak Tram Company Limited and The Peak Tram Company Limited have worked hard to prepare for the "It's Different Up Here" first campaign to be officially launched. From now until February 28, 2025, the event will start from the iconic Peak Tramway and end at the top of the tourist landmark Peak. "101 Peak Street" at Peak Tower provides Hong Kong-style cultural and culinary experiences to local and overseas guests. We sincerely invite you to come and participate with your loved ones and friends to spend Christmas and Chinese New Year together.

Mr. Chow Cheuk-yin, General Manager of The Peak Integrated Project, who was officiating at the launch ceremony of the "It's Different Up Here" event, said: "This event will be highlighted by exciting performances, different check-in points, authentic Hong Kong delicacies and well-designed gifts, allowing guests to participate together." This rare moment of celebration also showcases Hong Kong’s rich cultural heritage, and we hope to bring guests a unique experience every time, filling every corner with laughter and mischievous energy!”

Led by shrimp dumplings, siu mai and barbecued pork buns, members of the "DIM SUM SQUAD" group, one of the representatives of Hong Kong-style cuisine, brought a rhythmic and joyful dance to the guests at "101 Peak Street". "DIM SUM SQUAD"'s dim sum hoods and kung fu-style dance costumes complement each other with the elaborate Hong Kong-style decoration of "101 Peak Street", injecting a dynamic performance full of Hong Kong elements and atmosphere into the scene.

As the officiating guest Mr. Zhou Zhuoxian, general manager of the Peak Comprehensive Project, opened the event, a series of exciting activities began immediately. Singer Huang Yan sang "Coffee and Milk Tea" and "Before the Sky" for the guests: "The Peak Tram and the Peak Tower are tourist attractions in Hong Kong. I am very happy to be able to sing at Victoria Peak. I like tea and snacks very much," DIM SUM SQUAD’s style is cute and I love it. I believe everyone will like it and look forward to their hot dance performance!”

"101 Peak Street"

At "101 Peak Street" in The Peak Tower, guests will create unique memories and taste Hong Kong's authentic delicacies. In addition, guests can purchase exclusive gifts created in collaboration with local brands to support Hong Kong’s creative talents. There are surprises around every corner waiting for them to explore!

A number of small shops full of Hong Kong characteristics made their final appearance. The must-have "taxi cart" for tourists to take photos on the streets, the authentic Hong Kong "sugar cane cart", the specialty boutique "Siu Mei cart", the Hong Kong specialty innovative cake "mochi cart", and the tea-themed "dim sum" that is loved by Hong Kong people and tourists "Car" debuted at "101 Peak Street", attracting guests at the scene to take photos and cheers, and the scene was lively.

Neon Cider presents "Taxi Car"

Neon Cider is Hong Kong’s first local craft cider brand and has won the title of Best Craft Cider Factory in Asia for two consecutive years. Inspired by Hong Kong's iconic neon signs, the brand boldly incorporates Asian flavors using handcrafted brewing techniques to create extraordinary and unique tastes.

Neon Cider has also launched the Victoria Peak limited edition "Mala Cider". The flavor of "spicy apple cider" will shock your taste buds and challenge the limits of your taste.

Shanlang Milk Tea presents "Sugar Cane King Cart"

Shanlang Milk Tea has driven the trend of bottled milk tea made in Hong Kong in recent years with its award-winning craftsmanship and exquisite packaging. Not only tourists are buying whole suitcases as souvenirs from Hong Kong, but they are also recommended by Hong Kong celebrities who are knowledgeable about food and drink.

Exclusive commemorative special edition bottled milk tea and mandarin duck

This time, Shanlang also launched the "101 Peak Street" exclusive special edition to commemorate the Peak Tram and Victoria Peak bottled milk tea and mandarin duck. We hope that the collision of Hong Kong's new icons and classic landmarks this autumn and winter will bring different holiday surprises to tourists visiting the Peak. .

The commemorative special edition bottles are available exclusively at "101 Peak Street" from now on. Each bottle is limited to 1,000 bottles, first come first served, while stocks last.

MOOV presents "Siu Mei Cart"

MOOV has launched a series of Hong Kong-specific boutiques, including limited-edition coloring posters of Victoria Peak in Hong Kong and stickers full of Hong Kong-specific sentiments, allowing you to use your creativity, add personal style, and feel the unique charm of Hong Kong anytime and anywhere in your daily life.

Huang Yue presents "Mochi Cart"

Huang Yue, founded in Hong Kong in 2018, adheres to the concept of inheriting traditional cakes and delicacies while being brave in innovation. The products are managed by pastry masters including the founder of custard mooncakes, Ye Yonghua, and his only successor, Michelin pastry master Li Yongguan. This float is designed with the theme of mochi, which is popular for its fragrant, glutinous, smoky and tough texture.

Hong Kong Story Series

The Hong Kong-style gift box, which is full of nostalgia and familiarity, contains innovative cakes of different flavors, such as egg rolls, butterfly cakes, crispy bars, etc. It is a must-buy souvenir for tourists. The design of the cartons can be connected in a straight line to piece together a "panoramic picture" full of Hong Kong's past feelings.

Chung Teahouse presents "Dim Sum Cart"

Chung Teahouse, which is famous among diners, uses the creative mind and skilled craftsmanship of dim sum chefs to reinterpret a variety of exquisite Cantonese dim sum, achieving a perfect balance between traditional dim sum and unique new flavors. The collaboration between Tai Cheong Bakery, a local bakery with a history of 70 years in Yi Pai, is even more exciting.

Pistachio Cream Cone

Cream tubes can be said to have been a popular snack in the 1970s and 1980s. Unfortunately, they are now rarely available in bakeries. Chung Tea House specially developed the exclusive pistachio cream tube for the "101 Peak Street" event. The outer layer is loose and crispy. It is paired with the chef's exclusive pistachio sauce and chopped pistachios. It will be full of memories after eating it. You can travel back to old Hong Kong in an instant!

Interact with the "DIM SUM SQUAD" on the top of the mountain

Get ready to laugh and dance with DIM SUM SQUAD at the top of the mountain. DIM SUM SQUAD, led by shrimp dumplings, siomai and barbecued pork buns, will put on special costumes and create surprise encounters at Peak Tower and "101 Peak Street". Guests have the opportunity to meet siomai and interact with friends, creating endless photo opportunities.
